We cannot say enough wonderful things about Vanessa! She recently captured our daughter’s first birthday cake smash, and the entire experience was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, Vanessa was so warm and patient, making our little one feel completely at ease. She has such a natural way with children, and it wasn’t long before our daughter was giggling, playing, and fully enjoying the session.

When I finally decided that I wanted to do a maternity shoot, I knew there were three key things I looked for in a photographer. 1) Access to wardrobe (I couldn't figure out what I wanted to wear so this made it easier) 2) someone who had range in their work (i.e. in-studio work, outdoor work, editing, etc.) and lastly 3) for lack of a better way to say it personality. Vanessa had ALL three! As I mentioned, I had no idea what I wanted to wear, I went based off a mood/vibe that I wanted for my pictures.

We are so grateful to Vanessa for fitting us in on super short notice when my pregnancy brain forgot to get newborn pictures scheduled. I was worried when we got there because our little guy was super fussy, but Vanessa is magic! She had him wrapped up and sleeping in no time. He snoozed through almost the entire shoot and we have the most precious pictures. Can’t wait to get him in front of her camera again soon!
